Chase’s ATM fees for Chase Total Checking® customers are comparable with those charged by other large banks: $3 per withdrawal at non-Chase ATMs in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and $5 per withdrawal at non-Chase ATMs outside of the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. ATM operators may charge a fee, as well.
Like other large banks, Chase waives some ATM fees for certain customers: Chase Premier Plus Checking℠ customers get four fees waived per month at non-Chase ATMs. Chase Sapphire℠ Checking users have no Chase ATM fees and receive refunds of non-Chase ATM fees charged by the machine owner.

Outside the Chase network, fees can add up
If you live in Chase’s service area, you'll have plenty of ATMs. But if you live outside an area and regularly use out-of-network ATMs, the fees could add up quickly.
To avoid ATM costs, get cash back at grocery stores or retail checkouts. For a longer-term solution, consider the best banks for ATMs or a credit union in the Co-op network. Over 1,000 credit unions are part of this nationwide network of about 30,000 fee-free ATMs.

With your Chase ATM card, you can withdraw up to $3,000 per day from a Chase in-branch ATM. At other Chase ATMs, you can withdraw up to $1,000 per day for regular accounts and $3,000 per day for premium accounts.
What ATMs can you use with Chase?
You can use your Chase ATM card at Chase ATMs for free. At non-Chase ATMs in the continental U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the fee is $3 per transaction. At ATMs outside of those areas, the fees are $5 for withdrawals and $3 for ATM inquiries and transfers. On top of that, ATM operators may charge a fee. For certain Chase customers, some ATM fees are waived.
